I bought this carabiner thinking it was just a simple, cheap gadget for attaching keys to a backpack. Honestly, I didn't realize it was a product from a recognizable brand. I was expecting an ordinary, metal carabiner for little money. When I received the product, I was very pleasantly surprised. It is small and yet exceptionally precisely made: nothing wobbles, the spring works strongly and smoothly, and the lock opens with ease. At first, the slider-type lock seemed unnecessary, but in practice it really does protect against accidental opening. I have keys, a flashlight, and other small items attached to it every day – it holds everything without any problem. Despite its size, the steel it's made of seems durable, and the carabiner itself practically doesn’t add weight to the keys. It’s with me every day – I attach it to my backpack, pants belt, or use it in the car. The advantage is that I can quickly detach it, but at the same time there's no risk that it will open by itself. Later I found out that Nite Ize is a renowned American manufacturer of EDC accessories, which explains the higher quality of this gadget compared to anonymous substitutes. ⚠️ The only note: this carabiner is not suitable for climbing or carrying heavy loads. For everyday tasks and EDC, it works perfectly. Pros: ✔ very small and light ✔ solid mechanism ✔ good steel ✔ practical for keys and gear Cons: — small size (may not fit wide straps) — not for use with heavy loads 👉 Summary: I bought it by accident, but it stays with me. Now I know why such carabiners are recommended for everyday EDC kits.

One of my favorite models – I personally prefer it in black, it has never let me down, a great extension for any keychain. It’s good that it has a lock – over time it holds a bit more loosely, but it’s still good that it’s there.

Nice carabiner, top company. It seemed much bigger but it's actually very tiny. Another plus is the locking mechanism, as it eliminates the risk of losing it.

A very nice, solid carabiner from a trusted, reputable company. They are relatively small but durable. Good materials and solid workmanship. I believe the price is fair for what you get.

I have a carabiner from the same company and in the same size #2, but in the shape of the letter S (two separate rings). I ordered this one as well because it has a bigger closure, and I hoped it would make it easier to attach and detach a bunch of keys from the D-ring on my belt. The closure is indeed larger, which makes it easier to hit with your finger and operate... but only if the whole carabiner doesn't flip upside down. Unfortunately, that happens often, and having to figure out its position prolongs the process of detaching the keys from the belt. So for this use, I went back to the S-shaped carabiner :) The lock that prevents accidental opening is a nice feature. This carabiner is also unpainted, so nothing will chip off over time. I recommend it.

As you would expect from the Nite Ize brand, a solid carabiner. The lock preventing accidental opening does its job and gives confidence that even when attaching valuable items, they won't get lost outdoors, even if caught on branches or protruding edges. Attached to both pants and MOLLE on a vest, it worked 100%.
