This flashlight offers many functions while remaining very simple and intuitive to use. It is really worth spending a few minutes getting familiar with the manual, because everything is explained there clearly and accessibly. Its biggest advantage is its compact size. It fits in a pocket without any problem, and despite its small size, it sits well even in a larger hand. A small downside is the fairly stiff clip, which is hard to attach to regular trousers, although it may loosen up a bit over time. If someone is considering using this flashlight for self-defense, then although its output is “only” 2500 lm compared with the EDC29, it is still a very solid level. In practice, the light was strong enough to effectively blind me for about 15 seconds. Due to its length, it will not really work as a kubotan, but the best tool for self-defense is one you actually have with you, and thanks to its small size, this flashlight can be carried practically anywhere.
