The Nitecore P20UV V2 is a compact and lightweight tactical flashlight featuring a Cree XP-L2 V6 LED that delivers a maximum output of 1000 lumens, alongside four ultraviolet (UV) LEDs with a total output of 320 mW. UV illumination is perfect for detecting counterfeit currency, revealing stains undetectable in natural light, and mineral identification.
The flashlight achieves a maximum beam distance of 164 meters.
Power is supplied by either two CR123A batteries or a single 18650 rechargeable battery (not included).
Multiple primary operating modes and a strobe function are controlled through a main power switch and an auxiliary switch located at the flashlight’s tailcap. A battery level indicator sits at the rear, next to the switches.
The housing is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, finished with a black HA III coating that resists scratches and impacts. Its robust build and use of quality seals allow the flashlight to comply with the IP68 standard and withstand drops from heights up to 1 meter. The tube’s 1" (25.4 mm) diameter allows for various mounting configurations.
A Nitecore NTH20 tactical holster is included, enabling convenient everyday carry.
