A machete crafted in the style of tools once utilized by medieval Vikings, featuring a blade forged from damast steel. This material is recognized for its distinctive pattern created through the layering of different grades of steel. Owing to its robust build and high-quality materials, the model is ideal both for collectors passionate about Viking lore and for use during demanding outdoor tasks.
A broad blade with a Drop-Point profile is crafted from hand-forged Damascus steel, featuring multiple layers of high-carbon steel. Renowned for its exceptional resistance to abrasion and chipping as well as easy sharpening, this steel provides superior reliability. Finished with a low flat grind and hardened to 57 HRC, the blade’s geometry and hardness combine to deliver outstanding durability for demanding use.
Featuring a Hidden Tang construction, the handle is crafted from rosewood and fitted with a brass bolster, effectively preventing the hand from sliding onto the blade during operation. The surface has been finished with beeswax and linseed oil, greatly enhancing both durability and resistance to the elements.
Included in the set is a robust leather sheath featuring a belt loop, enabling the machete to be conveniently carried on your belt.
