The advantage of the saw is its weight and shape, which make it very easy to carry. However, the downside is that it has small teeth and gets stuck on wet branches. It cuts dry firewood OK, but for working with wet wood it is much less effective than Japanese saws like Silky or ARS. Additionally, the rubber on the handle tends to crumble at the edges. In my case, these defects appeared after just a few days of use.
A compact folding saw that performs excellently during survival trips, tourist expeditions, bushcraft outings, or while working in a garden or on a plot.
The 178 mm long blade is made of durable 65Mn spring steel, which is characterized by high resistance to chipping, hardness, strength, and abrasion resistance. The triply ground teeth of the saw are designed to enable the most efficient wood cutting. In the open position, the blade is locked using a back lock mechanism.
The tool’s ergonomically designed handle is made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum 6061-T6. The non-slip rubberized coating on the handle guarantees a secure grip during use. The set includes a nylon sheath.
