The jacket is warm and comfortable. It has a non-detachable hood with a drawstring. The jacket fastens with a zipper and a windproof flap with snaps. There is a reflective strip sewn under the flap. The jacket has two large pockets with flaps at the bottom in the front and two zippered pockets on the chest. Inside, there is another pocket, e.g. for a phone or wallet. There is also another drawstring inside the jacket at the waist. The sleeves have sewn-in cuffs - quite tight. One star less for this terrible two-way zipper. I know it's reasonable in this kind of jacket, but fastening it with these two sliders is a hassle, I can't imagine doing it with gloves on a winter day. Overall, yes, I recommend it, a very nice and well-made jacket.
