I use this backpack every day, I have carried a lot of heavy things in it and after two years of use there is practically no sign of wear. This backpack is suitable for everything and I recommend it to everyone who needs a large, durable backpack. It's great for everyday use thanks to the organized front pocket, but its capacity and expandability also make it perfect for trips and travels. The shoulder straps and handle are excellent — you can carry a lot and for a long time without getting tired. The only minor drawback is that the hook-and-loop fastener on the chest strap is too strong and can damage the straps. (I covered it with tape so it doesn't fray or tear my straps.) I would definitely buy it again. 9/10
Pentagon Epos Backpack 40 l - Wolf Grey
Tactical backpack offering a 40-liter capacity in Wolf Grey, ideal for everyday carry and brief field expeditions. Constructed from resilient 500D nylon, the pack includes a main compartment with a velcro panel lining and four pockets for optimized gear organization. Ergonomically designed shoulder straps together with a ventilated back panel enhance comfort during use, while the integrated MOLLE/PALS system provides options for attaching additional modular pouches.
500D nylon
Constructed from 500D nylon, the model boasts exceptional resistance to abrasion and mechanical wear. The robust fiber construction ensures reliable durability under demanding field conditions. Additionally, the fabric allows for easy cleaning and effectively endures fluctuating weather, contributing to the backpack’s long-lasting performance.
main compartment and pockets
The primary compartment, secured by a two-way YKK zipper, comes fully lined with a velcro panel, providing reliable mounting for additional pouches and organization inserts. This compartment is designed to accommodate larger gear components and ensures rapid access to contents.
Inside the compartment, a suspension system for a water tank is included, supporting most reservoirs up to 3 liters. At the rear of the backpack, a dedicated exit for a hydration tube allows for convenient use of hydration systems while in motion.
A front pocket with an organizer features three small compartments, ideal for storing smaller accessories. An administrative pocket is positioned at the top of the backpack for items that need to be accessed quickly. Two spacious pockets are located on the sides, suitable for carrying water bottles or other essentials requiring immediate accessibility.
MOLLE/PALS system, velcro panel
Equipped on the front and sides with straps in the MOLLE/PALS system, the backpack is designed to accommodate the attachment of extra pockets, pouches, or modules. The strategic placement of these straps enables users to create custom gear setups, while reinforced stitching ensures all attached accessories remain secure during demanding field operations.
A large velcro (hook and loop) panel is integrated onto the administrative pocket of the backpack, providing ample space for attaching various patches, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or Morale Patches.
carrying system, compression straps
The pack's carrying system utilizes contoured shoulder straps with thick, comfortable padding, ensuring an ergonomic fit over the shoulders while effectively distributing the load. Integrated D-rings on the straps allow quick attachment of lightweight accessories.
A 3D mesh back panel promotes airflow, minimizing heat accumulation even during extended use. Added support and stability under heavy loads come from an adjustable chest strap and a waist belt.
Side compression straps, equipped with Duraflex UTX buckles, enable efficient reduction of the backpack’s overall volume and provide secure retention of your gear. These straps offer mounting points for extra equipment, such as a sleeping pad or sleeping bag.

Great waterproof material. The backpack is very spacious and well designed. The shoulder straps hold well, and the zippers don't get stuck on the material. Unfortunately, the top handle is quite uncomfortable and a bit too small. It also lacks a rear compartment, e.g., for a laptop. Overall, I recommend it both for the outdoors and for everyday work.
-
The backpack is well-designed and quite solidly made. You can nitpick the details, but overall it makes a good impression. I think it's suitable for the outdoors as well as for the city. So far, I am satisfied.

Well - I can only confirm other reviews of this backpack; very good materials, well-thought-out design, comfortable. Great access to the inside - it can practically be fully unzipped. And those 40 liters are not just an empty claim, but real capacity! I recommend it!
-
Comfortable, well-stitched backpack. Thoughtfully arranged compartments. Handles well when more fully and heavily packed.
-
Great backpack, holds a lot of equipment. Used at the border, it did the job. After more than half a year of use, there are no signs of wear. It could be a bit wider.
-

The 40-liter Epos is an excellent backpack as a BOB. Very easy access to every nook and cranny. Very spacious and intuitive.
-
Very spacious backpack, good back reinforcement. An interesting alternative to the Wisport Zipperfox. The small pocket is perfect for organizing all sorts of gadgets. The only downside is the hip belt, which is of questionable construction.
-
Optimal size even for two weeks. Very good quality. It really looks great.
-
Good backpack, quite spacious, comfortable to carry. The pocket in the flap is useful and roomy.
-
The backpack is very spacious and relatively light. The smaller pocket is well thought out—it has compartments of various sizes and uses. The shoulder straps are comfortable, and the back is decently ventilated. It's just a pity it doesn't have a separate internal pocket for a laptop, for example.
