Pentagon Hurricane Pants with suspenders - Greek Lizard

All-season softshell pants crafted from highly durable nylon. Outfitted with a waterproof YdorTec membrane, offering water resistance rated at 10,000 mm/m2 and breathability of 5000 g/m2.

A PTFE coating has been applied to the outer layer of the pants, delivering exceptional resistance to both water and dirt. All seams are taped, ensuring enhanced waterproof protection even during heavy rainfall.

Elastic, adjustable suspenders ensure an excellent fit to the wearer’s body without limiting mobility. The waist features a stretch rubber band and a drawstring, allowing the pants to conform comfortably to the silhouette. The high back provides protection against cold drafts.

The lower legs feature Velcro-adjustable zippers that, when opened, provide convenient access to high boots and enhance ventilation beneath the pants. The design also includes wide loops for securing a belt.

Greek Lizard represents the standard camouflage pattern of the Greek Armed Forces, directly inspired by the French Lizard pattern (Tap47) that saw widespread use during the mid-20th century. Specifically engineered for Greece’s unique environment, the Greek adaptation was tailored to suit the country's mountainous landscapes, rocky ground, and sparse vegetation. The Greek Lizard camouflage features a series of horizontal, irregular bands in shades of olive green, brown, and black set against a lighter background—typically sand or pale green. Maintaining the iconic striped arrangement of its French predecessor, the color palette has been modified to meet the demands of the Mediterranean terrain. For decades, the Greek Lizard pattern has served as the primary camouflage for Greek field uniforms, and it continues to be worn today, particularly among ground forces.
