Pentagon Major Greek Lizard Sleeping Bag - Right

Robust sleeping bag in Greek Lizard camouflage pattern, designed with a rectangular, envelope-style shape to promote optimal body positioning and allow for free movement throughout the night. Constructed from premium polyester, the sleeping bag features a tough outer layer and a synthetic insulation.

Durable polyester, Hollow Fiber filling

The exterior features robust 170T polyester, while the interior is lined with 190T Pongee polyester for added comfort. Enhanced thermal insulation is provided by a synthetic Hollow Fiber filling with a density of 370 g/m2. The quilted pattern of the outer layers secures the filling, guaranteeing a uniform distribution throughout the sleeping bag.

Integrated hood for added warmth

Greek Lizard represents the primary camouflage pattern of the Greek Armed Forces, developed directly from the French Lizard pattern (Tap47) widely utilized during the mid-20th century. The Greek adaptation was specifically modified for the unique climate and terrain of Greece, characterized by mountainous regions, rocky surfaces, and sparse vegetation. The Greek Lizard camouflage features horizontal, irregular bands in shades of brown, olive green, and black set against a lighter backdrop—typically sand or pale green. Maintaining the signature striped design of its French predecessor, the color palette of the Greek version has been adjusted to suit Mediterranean environments. For decades, the Greek Lizard served as the standard pattern for Greek field uniforms and continues to be employed today, particularly among ground forces.

    The sleeping bag is very warm, sufficient to maintain thermal comfort when staying overnight in a mountain shelter. Unfortunately, when folded it is quite large, but the price is noteworthy if someone needs equipment for a camping trip. I recommend it.

    Quite a thick sleeping bag, which makes it difficult to roll up, and on top of that, the outer material is slippery, which makes this task even more complicated. The color in the photo is highly indicative. I haven't tested it, but overall it seems just okay. Probably more on the worse side than the better. I returned it.

    Very warm sleeping bag. Fairly thick filling. It insulates well and doesn't unzip during sleep. The zippers move smoothly and get stuck in the material. When rolled up, it takes up a lot of space.

    The sleeping bag looks solid. Quite thick filling, the outer polyester is of good quality. After rolling up and squeezing into the bag, it takes up some space and is a bit heavy. - So it is not a product for hiking, but for home or a car trip, it is just right.
