Pentagon Tac Maven Sentinel Sleeping Bag - Greek Lizard

Rugged sleeping bag in Greek Lizard camouflage, designed with a rectangular envelope shape for optimal comfort and freedom of movement throughout the night. Constructed from premium polyester, the bag features a robust outer shell and synthetic insulation.

Temperatures and usage conditions

Travel bottle with a 550 ml capacity, constructed from highly robust Tritan. The material is Bisphenol A (BPA) free. A wide mouth design ensures easy filling with any beverage. Secure closure is provided by a cap featuring a seal, attached to the bottle via a loop, preventing loss. The loop also functions as a convenient attachment or carrying option. Ideal for outdoor activities, travel, and everyday use.

Bottle offers resistance to both high and low temperatures (operational range: -10 deg. C to 90 deg. C). Pouring hot liquids inside allows the bottle to double as an improvised hot water container, offering additional thermal comfort when placed in a sleeping bag.

Durable polyester, Hollow Fiber filling

Constructed with a tough 170T polyester shell, the sleeping bag features an interior crafted from 190T Pongee polyester. Superior heat insulation is provided by a layer of synthetic Hollow Fiber filling at a density of 220 g/m2. The outer fabrics are quilted to secure the filling, guaranteeing uniform distribution across the entire sleeping bag.

Right-side zipper

Featuring a right-side zipper, the sleeping bag can be fully opened, ensuring straightforward and rapid access for entry and exit.

Integrated hood for cold protection

The integrated hood delivers superior thermal insulation by enveloping the head, effectively minimizing heat escape during cold conditions. Its design offers enhanced defense against both wind and moisture.

Camouflage Greek Lizard

Greek Lizard represents the primary camouflage pattern of the Greek Armed Forces and originates directly from the French Lizard pattern (Tap47), which saw widespread use throughout the mid-20th century. Adapted to accommodate Greece’s unique geography—marked by mountainous, rocky landscapes and sparse vegetation—the Greek iteration was modified for optimal effectiveness in these conditions. Greek Lizard camouflage is characterized by horizontal, irregular bands in varying shades of olive green, brown, and black, overlaying a lighter base color, typically sand or pale green. While maintaining the recognizable striped arrangement of its French predecessor, the palette of the pattern was specifically tailored for Mediterranean environments. Greek Lizard served as the standard camouflage for Greek field uniforms over many decades and continues to be fielded, especially among ground forces.

    Another sleeping bag from Pentagon, this time it's Sentinel. I already have the Major model, which has worked great so far. The Sentinel is definitely smaller and lighter than the Major, and after compressing, I got a size of 24 cm / 25 cm, which I consider a really good result. Besides that, it's an excellent sleeping bag, warm, very comfortable, and a great color, and most importantly, it doesn't restrict movement during use. It will definitely last a long time. Highly recommended.

    The sleeping bag is nice and warm. The workmanship is good but I am not 100% convinced it will withstand certain adventures. I will probably need to buy a cover... The only downside is the packed size... the bag is useless and it's necessary to buy a compression sack because the sleeping bag is very puffy after packing.
