Made of polyester

Crafted from robust polyester, the neck gaiter efficiently draws moisture away from the skin, delivering superior thermal comfort and ensuring optimal breathability. The material is remarkably soft to the touch and prevents skin irritation, while maintaining exceptional durability against wear and pilling. On autumn evenings, the gaiter works well as a short neck warmer that covers the neck. Greek Lizard Camouflage

Greek Lizard represents the primary camouflage pattern utilized by the Greek Armed Forces, originating directly from the French Lizard pattern (Tap47) that was widely employed during the mid-20th century. The Greek adaptation was specifically tailored for the unique environmental conditions of Greece—predominantly mountainous, rocky landscapes with sparse vegetation. Featuring horizontal, irregular stripes in various shades of olive green, brown, and black over a lighter base—typically sand or light green—the Greek Lizard camouflage maintains the iconic striped motif of the original French design, while adjusting its color palette to suit the Mediterranean environment. For decades, the Greek Lizard served as the standard pattern for Greek field uniforms and continues to be used today, particularly among ground forces.

    I bought this product mainly as a supplement to my winter gear in RLA 7013 color, and in that respect it met my expectations; the shade is quite similar to the brown-gray version from UF PRO. The material quality itself is not impressive, because the part without fleece started to pill despite little use, but it still performs its task well. I also removed the small orange tag so that the whole thing would be less visible.
