Petzl Actik Red Headlamp - 450 lumens

Compact headlamp with maximum power 450 lumens and range up to 100 meters. Equipped with 3 white light modes and 2 red modes. Thanks to 2 types of diodes, white light can be emitted in a narrow or wide beam.

Durable construction, IPX4 standard

The headlamp case is made from lightweight and durable plastic. Sealed construction ensures water resistance at IPX4 level-- protection against splashing and light rain falling from any direction. The head with adjustable tilt angle allows customizing the angle of light emission to individual needs. Flexible band with reflective elements and adjustable length allows mounting on the head or helmet.

White and red light, wide and focused beam

The Actik model is equipped with three efficient LEDs: two white and one red. White diodes allow selection between a focused and diffused beam, depending on conditions and user needs. The red diode emits diffused light that illuminates the immediate surroundings without blinding or disrupting dark vision adaptation. Mode changes are made with one button. The Lock function locks the headlamp to prevent accidental activation during transport.

Battery or rechargeable power, Hybrid Concept technology

The headlamp is powered by 3 AAA 1.5V batteries or a Petzl Core(battery (not included). Hybrid Concept technology automatically adjusts power level to the selected power source. Using a rechargeable battery can increase the headlamp power to 600 lumens.

    This headlamp, as expected from Petzl, is very good, there is nothing to complain about, but I would prefer to pay a little more and buy the Core 2022 version, it has 150 more lumens and sometimes that helps.

    This is my second Petzl Actic headlamp. As far as the light goes, there are no surprises – everything is as it should be. I deducted one point for the strap. One of the plastic buckle elements can sometimes unclip and get lost.

    A very well-made headlamp that makes a positive impression not only on paper. The beam of light in the strongest mode is a bit wide, but that doesn't bother me at all. On the plus side, the exchangeable battery is unfortunately charged with a microUSB cable. It would be nice if the manufacturer considered charging via USB-C, which is already the standard. I recommend buying an additional battery for the headlamp, which nicely complements the batteries included with the headlamp. The flap in the headlamp is quite stiff, but importantly, it has a gasket, making it resistant to weather conditions, which it has already proven more than once.
