I bought this as an addition to my 72-hour evacuation backpack so I’d have some bread-like food for meals. Each portion is packed in a sturdy, thick sachet with 6 crispbreads and has a 2-year shelf life. The crispbreads themselves are quite hard and crunchy, but they don’t crumble, they are filling, and their texture is similar to shortbread. They are neither salty nor sweet, contain grains, and have a slight caraway aftertaste. They work great for scooping up food instead of using a spoon, and one sachet can be enough for two meals. Thanks to their rectangular shape, they are easy to tuck into a box or pocket without wasting space.
