The arrow rest is a plastic screw with a protruding little nub on which the arrow is placed - you can't tighten it firmly because the plastic thread strips easily; besides, such a rest wears out quickly and requires technique for beginners to use. The bow has no peep sight or release, so it requires even more technique and preparation before shooting. The instruction manual included with the bow is useless; you need some specialist to explain how to assemble and adjust everything, because you won't learn anything from the manual. You also have to find and set the point where the arrow sits on the string by yourself. The spread is quite strong (according to people who compete in shooting competitions), so don't expect accuracy from this bow. I bought this bow, but with hindsight I would buy a different one, two to three times more expensive, but more suitable for beginners and from a different company.
