Primal Gear Heavy Plater Carrier Modon Tactical Vest - MultiCam

Plate carrier vest constructed from lightweight and robust Aspen 500D material. Both the front and rear sections feature internal compartments for SAPI ballistic plates in size M. The panels are outfitted with Molle-compatible webbing and partial Velcro surfaces, making it possible to mount additional gear and identification patches. The front panel includes a flap with pouches for three AR/AK magazines, secured by elastic shockcord retainers. Integrated zippers on the back panel allow for hassle-free attachment of an assault panel or a Rush 2.0 backpack.

The cummerbund features Molle webbing and internal slots designed for accommodating Side SAPI plates. Located beneath the outer belt on both the right and left sides is a pouch to stow an extra magazine or radio. The reinforced inner waistband extends from the back near the shoulder blades to the front of the abdomen and fastens beneath the front panel. Outfitted with specialized padding, the internal belt enhances comfort during wear and assists in shifting part of the weight to the hips for better load distribution.

Offering complete adjustability both vertically and horizontally, the vest provides a customizable fit to suit the wearer’s physique. Ergonomic shoulder pads are included, with Velcro-adjustable loops on the shoulders to manage and secure communication cables or hydration hoses. Both shoulders come equipped with Quick Release handles to enable rapid vest removal. In addition, a buckle on the left shoulder simplifies donning and removing the vest.

MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern introduced in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in partnership with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as a component of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Designed to serve as a versatile pattern, its purpose is to deliver effective concealment in a wide range of terrains and environmental settings. The MultiCam design utilizes a seven-color palette to create gradient transitions among shades of green, brown, and beige, enabling seamless adaptation to various surroundings. In woodland environments, the pattern reflects green tones, while in arid or desert landscapes, it shifts toward browns and beiges—making it exceptionally effective during autumn and in dry vegetation typical of Central and Eastern Europe. MultiCam has achieved global acclaim and is utilized by many military forces and specialized units. In 2010, the U.S. Army officially selected this camouflage for personnel operating in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Civilian access to this pattern has also contributed to its popularity among military hobbyists and airsoft enthusiasts.
