ProTek PT1216 USMC Automatic Watch

Watch with an analog dial designed for professional use in challenging conditions, both underwater and on land. The model features a lightweight carbon composite watchcase, automatic Seiko/TMI mechanism with 24 jewels and water resistance of 30 atmospheres (300 m), allowing for the safe use of the device during diving. It is equipped with a Pro-Glo T25 tritium illumination system that emits light continuously for up to 25 years without the need for recharging with external light.

Durable watchcase construction and seals

The watch mechanism is enclosed in a black watchcase with a diameter of 42 mm made of lightweight carbon composite, which has high damage resistance while maintaining a low weight. Screw-down crown made of 316L stainless steel and equipped with a multi-ring gasket system, as well as a steel caseback, ensure high sealing tightness of the construction. The whole achieves water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM), enabling the safe use of the watch underwater.

diver's ring, anti-reflective sapphire glass, markings

The model is equipped with a unidirectional rotating ring with a 60-click mechanism, allowing precise time measurement, even during diving. The ring features clear minute markings (every 10 units). The Desert Sand color dial is protected by high-quality sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating, which reduces light reflections and enhances readability in various lighting conditions.

At 12 o'clock, a highlighted marker is used, covering both the index on the dial and the reference point on the diver's ring. This solution facilitates the quick setting of reference time and improves readability, especially in conditions of limited visibility.

steel caseback with embossed USMC motif

The watch is equipped with a screw-down caseback made of high-quality 316L stainless steel, resulting in high sealing tightness. Its surface is adorned with the embossed emblem of the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

precise Seiko/TMI mechanism

The model is equipped with an automatic Seiko/TMI mechanism, which uses wrist movement to wind the mainspring and does not require a battery. The design based on 24 jewels ensures friction reduction, stable operation, and increased durability of the entire system. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides approximately 40 hours of power reserve.

Pro-Glo T25 illumination for maximum readability

The watch utilizes a Pro-Glo T25 illumination system based on tritium. This solution ensures continuous illumination for up to 25 years without the need for recharging with external light, giving it a significant advantage over traditional luminescent coatings.

The system does not require prior exposure to light, maintaining full functionality both in complete darkness and underwater. The high intensity of the illumination facilitates quick reading of the indications, which is important during diving, night activities, and work in limited visibility.

flexible strap with adjustable fit

The model features a black rubber strap with a width of 22 mm, ending with a steel buckle. The design is reinforced with a steel tube through which the telescopic bars pass, increasing the durability and resistance to tearing. The strap fits well on the wrist, providing high wearing comfort and effectively preventing the watch from shifting.

Pro-Glo T25
Pro-Glo T25 is a Swiss-made tritium backlight technology used in ProTek watches, providing continuous, self-luminous illumination without the need for light charging or batteries (up to about 25 years). It uses glass tubes with tritium (up to 25 mCi), the decay of which stimulates a phosphor to emit light that is visible in total darkness and underwater. Although less intense than T100, it is still much brighter than traditional luminescence.
