Historically, a diving watch could withstand great depths where water pressure could have a destructive effect on it. In other words, in order for a diver to actually rely on a diving watch, the instrument had to be very well and solidly made. As diving watches were high-quality products, it is not difficult to imagine how they could gain popularity among ordinary users, not at all related to the subject of diving.

Why did divers need watches during a dive at all? They simply needed to know exactly how much time they spent underwater or, for example, how long it would be until the next decompression stop. Therefore, diving watches used solutions that made it much easier to make such measurements - the bezel, which is a rotating ring with a measurement scale applied to it, allows for this. You just need to set it in the right place, so that later you can quickly and easily read the elapsed time from a particular moment.

Today, professional divers do not rely as much on dive watches as they did in the past. This is due to the availability of modern dive computers. However, this does not change the fact that both the appearance reminiscent of dive watches (such as the striking bezel) and the functionality in the form of enduring great depths are highly valued by ordinary watch users. That's why dive watches are still very popular. In our offer, however, for diving watches we select watches with a water resistance of at least 20 ATM.
