Protektor Grom Unique Boots - Beige

I have this model, just in black, and I probably won't buy anything from this brand (Demar) again. The shoes took a very long time to break in because at first they were extremely stiff, but now they are very comfortable. However, the upper of the shoe at the front is set very low, and the eyelet rivets for the laces are poorly secured, so they can press on the top of the foot when tied tightly. The heel is well protected against wear. The sole is comfortable, although completely flat, so it's “not really made for the terrain.” The leather is of good quality, but unfortunately after less than two seasons of not very intensive use, the shoes are starting to come unglued at the sides. Despite waxing with beeswax, I rate their water resistance as about 3/5, hence my overall rating. They look great and have really nice leather and that's about it. The lacing system also doesn't have any stopper, so you really need a lot of strength to lace them tightly. After some improvement, they would be great shoes at a great price. A pity.....

Fantastic shoes. Very comfortable. Perfect for winter in our climate zone. They are definitely not suitable for taking a shower - that's what other shoes are for, like flippers. Paired with good warm socks, they make a nice winter set. I also recommend them for cool autumns and springs. Tested in various terrain conditions in traditional walking - they passed the test. I don't know how they perform in extreme combat conditions and I hope I never find out. Watch out for the sizing! Protector has a problem in this area. I have their other shoes in size 44, but here I had to buy 43.

Surprisingly comfortable shoes, the sole grips the surface quite well, even in winter conditions. There is only one big downside. Unfortunately, the shoes feel 'stuffy', my feet sweat to the point of having damp socks. Russian Teflon? If not for that, they would be awesome, especially for their comfort, price, and appearance. Nevertheless, I still recommend them.

They look better in person than in photos. Unfortunately, they are not waterproof. I tested the shoes under the shower by pouring water over them to simulate light rain. At first it was fine, but after a few minutes water got inside the shoe from the sole. Once it got in, there was more and more, like on a famous ship. The tread is terrible, no grip on wet surfaces, regular sneakers are much better. Walking in the forest on muddy roads, I slipped twice and almost fell to the ground once. On tiles in the church, they're slippery even when the surface is dry. In my opinion, the shoes are quite hard; at the front they are relatively soft, but around the ankle they are hard and uncomfortable to walk in. In winter, they are cold if anyone is wondering. I like the look of the shoes, but I only wear them on special occasions and not in the woods.

SUPER comfortable, soft, breathable, and not tight anywhere. They absorb shocks well on hard or uneven ground. Additionally, the beige version looks really great.

Really excellent shoes. I have wide feet and always have a big problem finding shoes that fit, especially in large sizes like 47. With these shoes, I immediately felt comfort. It’s amazing, I will definitely order a few more pairs. After a whole day, my foot was slightly damp, but there was no odor at all. I am extremely surprised.

Sturdy, soft, and above all very light shoes. Suitable for any terrain, well made, I have no complaints. Lightning-fast shipping. Everything as described. I recommend them.

In general, I was looking not for these boots, but for another model Protector S.A. Cross, but they are currently only in the light color. So I chose this model from Protector S.A. As someone who has foot problems, I definitely looked for wide, light, and soft boots. A few years ago, I had experience using the Cross model from this manufacturer and was left with only positive impressions. Despite the fact that the Unique model has reinforced heel and toe, in terms of shape and design the models are very similar. After receiving them, I can say: The quality of stitching is very high, they are softer and lighter than the Cross (for me), comfortable for a wide foot (from the “put them on and forgot about them” category). I'm satisfied. I haven't found any obvious downsides, but I can mention these observations: - Absence of top hooks for quick lacing (but there are only six, so it's not critical); - The loops themselves are plastic (although they look strong); - I hoped the sole would be monolithic single-layer, but it's double-layer (though, again, everything looks high quality); - I'm confident in the quality of the leather on the boots, but still, I'll additionally treat them with the appropriate protective chemistry.

Well made and comfortable in the field, the size chart is accurate, very good purchase and I can easily recommend them. My wife likes them too, but fortunately they are too big for her and don't match her mini skirt.

Great shoes, super comfortable, very high quality. The gray color looks much better in real life. I wear them for daily walks in the forest with my dog and they are perfect for it.
