Semi-automatic self-defense pistol Byrna SD (Self Defense) operates on an 8 g CO2 cartridge and is designed to fire .68 caliber projectiles. Key components of the construction are crafted from metal, while the frame is made from high-strength polymer. Compatible with rubber, rubber-metal, powder, pepper, and paint balls for versatile shooting applications.
The CO2 capsule is inserted into the chamber positioned beneath the barrel. The chamber cap can be easily unscrewed with the hex wrench integrated into the magazine. The quick-piercing capsule system activates and pierces the capsule on the initial trigger pull. This design enables the pistol to be carried and stored in a loaded, ready-to-use condition.
Enhanced mechanical sighting systems, featuring a fixed front sight and rear sight, ensure improved speed and ease of target acquisition. Reliable protection against unintentional firing is guaranteed by the ambidextrous adjustable safety, enabling convenient thumb activation. A newly designed lighter trigger mechanism compared to the previous model permits quicker shot execution.
