Nitro-V Stainless steel

Equipped with a 90 mm blade crafted from Nitro-V stainless steel, this knife offers outstanding durability, resistance to wear, and effective protection against corrosion. The steel is hardened to 58-60 HRC, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Drop-Point blade, flat grind

Featuring a Drop-Point blade profile, this knife is engineered to deliver superior tip strength, making it ideal for outdoor and EDC scenarios where both precision piercing and enhanced blade control are essential. Integrated jimping provides a reliable thumb rest, offering improved grip and precise handling during cutting tasks.

A flat grind on the blade promotes excellent cutting efficiency, while the PVD coating conceals minor abrasions, minimizes reflections, and bolsters resistance against corrosion.

Easy one-handed opening and user safety

Equipped with a dual-sided thumb stud, the knife allows for quick and convenient deployment. Blade retention and security are provided by the Crossbar Lock mechanism. A designated notch in the handle offers extra protection, preventing fingers from slipping forward onto the edge.

Handle made of G10 laminate

Handle scales are crafted from red G10 laminate, a material known for being lightweight yet offering exceptional resistance to damage, moisture, temperature fluctuations, and exposure to most solvents and acids. The ergonomically contoured scales and their textured finish deliver a secure and reliable grip. A flexible deep-carry clip (tip-up, right-side carry) provides comfortable carry and allows the knife to be easily attached to a belt or the edge of a pocket.

Nitro-V
Nitro-V is a modern martensitic stainless steel developed by New Jersey Steel Baron in cooperation with Buderus Steel. It is based on AEB-L steel, enriched with nitrogen (approx. 0.11%) and vanadium (up to 0.1%), which significantly improves corrosion resistance, impact strength, and edge durability. Carbon (0.68%) provides good hardness and chromium (approx. 13%) is responsible for stainlessness, making the steel resistant to moisture and acidic environments. After hardening, Nitro-V achieves a hardness of 58-63 HRC, offering a good combination of cutting aggression, toughness, and ease of re-sharpening. This steel is used in EDC, kitchen, and outdoor knives.

Crossbar Lock is the general name of the mechanism used after the Benchmade patent expired in 2018. The design works on the same principle as the Axis Lock - a spring bar moves along the handle and locks the blade in the open position. The differences between manufacturers mainly concern the details of workmanship, materials, and the shape of the switches. The lock is double-sided, easy to use, and extremely popular in modern EDC knives. Thanks to its versatility, it has become the standard for many companies.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
