This is my first thermos of this kind. I was used to using a thermos only for carrying coffee or tea. I must admit that this is quite a smart solution for taking a still hot meal with you without having to prepare it on the spot (a waste of time). I recommend it.

The thermos looks nice. I had some doubts the first time screwing it closed; the thread seemed to go on crooked. However, the thermos is tight. During an autumn trip to the Pieniny mountains, it worked great. Soup prepared in the morning was still hot in the late afternoon. I recommend it!

I definitely recommend the thermos, it keeps the temperature well, the quality is very good, I have no problem unscrewing it, and so far there are no lingering smells. Most heat escapes through the upper cap, but here's a tried-and-true trick: I put a piece of aluminum foil between the cap and the bowl, and that's enough for it to keep warm 1-2 hours longer... After about 6 hours, the soup is still very warm.

Lunch thermos purchased for my daughter for school lunches. It works, hot food can be eaten. Not too heavy and fits in a school backpack. Easy to keep clean. As for the color, it's definitely more subdued, olive green. Mega-fast delivery, it was there the next day already waiting to be filled. Highly recommended.
