In 2025, the company celebrated its 70th anniversary, and it is now run by the third generation of the founding family. Savotta has worked with the Finnish Defence Forces since the 1960s, supplying solutions that meet military quality standards. The company focuses on durable, top-grade materials such as Cordura, with 97% of raw materials sourced from suppliers in the European Union. Savotta's proprietary solutions include the Rapid Adjustment Slider quick-adjustment system, frames made from polyethylene sheets, and laser-cut constructions in the PALS/MOLLE standard. Savotta products are designed in Finland and manufactured entirely within the European Union. Due to high demand, since 2025 production has been carried out in three countries: Finland, Estonia, and Poland, while the final quality control of every product takes place at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.
