Savotta Rintamus Chest Pack Bag 2.6 l - MultiCam

Bag with a capacity of 2.6 l made of durable 500D Cordura resistant to mechanical damage and intensive use in the field. The material used meets the requirements of NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance), which means limited visibility in the infrared range. The pocket is closed with a zipper. It is equipped with a detachable, adjustable carrying system that allows for comfortable carrying on the chest.

500D Cordura, NIR technology

The model is made from 500D Cordura, which is characterized by high durability and resistance to abrasion. Additionally, the fabric has been treated with NIR, which reduces heat emission and reflects IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to remain close to the surroundings. This reduces the risk of user detection by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision devices and infrared sensors.

Spacious main compartment, flat external pocket

The main compartment is closed with a robust zipper and has an extensive equipment organization system. Inside there is one large and two small flat pockets, three wide elastic organizers, two attachment points for securing cords or carabiners, and a velcro panel measuring 20 x 10 cm for mounting additional organizers. The model is also equipped with drainage holes to remove water from the interior.

A large, flat pocket made from breathable 3D mesh with an open construction is placed on the back wall. The pocket can be used, for example, to store straps when attaching the bag directly to a backpack.

MOLLE system, Veclro panel

The straps on the front are compatible with the MOLLE system, allowing for the attachment of additional gear. On the front, there is also a velcro panel measuring 15 x 5 cm, which enables the attachment of any patches or emblems, such as a national flag, unit emblem, or so-called Morale Patches.

Comfortable straps, stabilizing loop

The model is equipped with a low-profile X-type harness carrying system made from 25 mm wide straps. The construction ensures comfortable use even under backpack straps, minimizing pressure and increasing comfort during prolonged wear. Additionally, an elastic stabilizing loop is used in the neck area.

MultiCam camouflage

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

Velcro

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.

The new Savotta chestpack looks very good. It resembles a medium-sized waist pouch with the same capacity (2.6 l), but stands out due to a different type of mounting loops. Its simple construction makes it extremely comfortable to use. The characteristic Savotta quality – I definitely recommend this product.

Great chest pack, I bought it directly from the manufacturer and I definitely recommend it. It's important to remember that even though it is advertised as a "chest pocket," it doesn't necessarily have to be used for that. Savotta's gear can be very easily modified using their proprietary clips, which unfortunately are not available on Militari. Personally, I also use it as a hip pack, alternating with the Askare (which sometimes serves as a DIY chest pack!) or attaching it to the Kahakka 25. I definitely recommend this product!
