Compact sharpening kit designed for honing straight blades, small implements, and hooks.

Replaceable tungsten carbide inserts with a Coarse grit set at a fixed angle enable fast sharpening and effective edge formation. A Fine 750 grit diamond plate efficiently polishes the cutting edge, with patented plate grooves capturing metal filings during the process. Final finishing is achieved using two Fine 850 grit ceramic rods, each featuring a dedicated groove for sharpening hooks.

The sharpener's housing is crafted from robust plastic and includes rubber inserts for enhanced operational stability. A retractable guard shields the sharpening stone, assuring a secure grip while working. For secure transport, the ceramic rods stow conveniently beneath the bottom cover.

A proper sharpener for a reasonable price. The built-in drawer for ceramic rods allows the whole thing to be folded so that it doesn't take up too much space, for example when traveling. Easy to use.

The sharpener allows for good sharpening even without skills. The rods force a constant sharpening angle and you only need to slide the knife vertically to ensure the cutting edge is even and sharp.
