Temperature and usage conditions
The operating temperatures of the Jungle Bag sleeping bag are specified in accordance with EN 13537:
- T-comfort: 7 deg C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-extreme: 2 deg C - the lowest temperature at which it is possible to survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
Micro Diamond construction, Paratex Antibacterial lining
The external layer, featuring hydrophobic properties, utilizes Micro Diamond material combined with a robust Rip-Stop weave for enhanced durability. The interior lining is crafted from polyester Paratex Antibacterial material, which possesses antibacterial qualities to inhibit microbial proliferation, minimize unwanted odors, and provide improved user comfort. A small pocket for accessories is positioned at the upper end of the interior.
Travelsoft filling
Equipped with a lightweight synthetic Travelsoft insulation, the sleeping bag ensures outstanding heat retention. Thanks to the advanced fiber structure, both hand and machine washing are possible without compromising the integrity of the filling.
Zip on the right side
A two-way zipper is positioned on the right side of the sleeping bag, with an internal tape to prevent snagging. The zipper allows partial opening at the foot section for ventilation or complete unzipping, converting the bag into a quilt. Two sleeping bags—one with a left-side zipper—can be joined to create a double sleeping bag.
Hood with mosquito net protection against cold
Anatomically contoured hood delivers superior protection to reduce heat loss from the head. A drawstring adjustment further limits heat escape and boosts comfort during cold weather bivouacs. Built-in mosquito net shields the head from insects, providing secure and undisturbed rest.

A great summer sleeping bag that stands out for its very compact size when packed down. Combined with a bivy sack and a small amount of clothing, it works for me without any problem at 12°C, although I haven’t tested it yet in lower temperatures. It replaced my poncho liner, and with its smaller packed dimensions it offers more uses thanks to the hood, mosquito net, and zippers — it can be used both as a sleeping bag and as a blanket.

The perfect sleeping bag for high temperatures or sleeping under a roof when there's no comforter, and you need to recharge. Light, compresses to the size of a bottle, with a built-in mosquito net. Because of the envelope design, it can serve as an emergency comforter for unexpected guests. A class of its own and, in some circles, maybe even a legend. The workmanship, like all Snugpak products I have encountered, is of a high standard. I recommend it!
