Snugpak Nautilus Sleeping Bag Left - Green

A lightweight sleeping bag in Green with a left-side zipper version designed for use in temperatures from -2 to 3 degrees Celsius. It is ideal for camping in the field or sleeping under a tent in warmer seasons. The ergonomic mummy shape ensures full freedom of movement during sleep.

Temperatures and conditions of use

The operating temperatures of the Snugpak Nautilus sleeping bag are specified in accordance with EN 13537:

  • T-comfort: +3 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
  • T-limit: -3 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
  • T-extreme: -14 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This is not a value recommended for standard use.

Hydrophobic Aqualight fabric, synthetic Isofibre filling

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of durable 190T polyester Aqualight fabric with hydrophobic properties. The filling consists of synthetic Isofibre silicone material, whose structure retains warmed air between the cavities in the fibres. The hood is equipped with an elastic drawcord, allowing it to be tightened around the face.

Left-side two-way zipper, option to join sleeping bags together

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper positioned on the left side, which makes getting in and out easier. It has been fitted with an insulating strip that prevents cold from getting inside. It also protects the fabric from snagging during opening and closing. Two sleeping bags with zippers on opposite sides can be joined together without fastening the bottom part.

Convenient transport and storage

The model is convenient for transport and storage. When packed, the sleeping bag measures 24 x 20 cm, and its weight is 1400 g, which allows for easy carrying without excessively burdening luggage.

    The sleeping bag is comfortably spacious, which is exactly what I expected from it. However, once packed, it should take up less space. In practice, I was unable to achieve the advertised dimensions of 20×24 — it comes out to about 22×27 instead. If I had known this earlier, I would have chosen a different model. This is not the packed size I expected.

    I bought this product tempted by a KSK promotion, picked it up a few days ago and tested it in the forest last night. I laid out a tarp, sleeping mat, and this sleeping bag. I slept in boxers and a thin sweater, and the temperature measured one meter above the ground was 6°C at night. I pulled the hood tight, leaving a small opening to breathe, and it was warm. The sleeping bag is comfortable and wide enough to turn around in, and it’s the right length for my height of 186cm. I also want to praise the bag because it's great.
