Całość konstrukcji jest uszczelniona, co gwarantuje wodoodporność klasy IPX7 – pełną ochronę przed pyłem oraz możliwość zanurzenia w wodzie do 30 minut na głębokość 1 metra. Tubus o średnicy 30 mm charakteryzuje się wysoką trwałością oraz odpornością na wstrząsy do 7000 J, skutecznie zabezpieczając układ optyczny przed uszkodzeniami. Luneta może być użytkowana w zakresie temperatur od -30 do +60 deg. C.

The outer shell of the sleeping bag is crafted from water-resistant Aqualight fabric, utilizing durable 190T polyester. The insulation consists of synthetic Isofibre silicone material, featuring a structure that traps warm air within the fiber cavities for enhanced thermal retention. An elastic cord integrated into the hood permits secure adjustment around the face.

The dual-direction zipper is internally shielded by a thermal barrier to minimize heat escape. A strip on the lower side prevents snagging, while loops at the bottom ensure optimal airflow. Two sleeping bags featuring zippers on opposite sides can be joined together without securing the lower end.

Operating temperature ranges for the Svalbard sleeping bag, as defined by the EN 13537 standard, are as follows:

• T-comfort: 5 deg. C – designated as the lowest temperature at which a woman will experience a comfortable night's sleep,
• T-limit: 0 deg. C – identified as the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without experiencing discomfort,
• T-extreme: -16 deg. C – classified as the lowest survivable temperature. Prolonged use in these conditions is not advised.
