Snugpak Nautilus Sleeping Bag Right - Green

A lightweight sleeping bag in Green colour in the version with the zipper on the right side, intended for use in temperatures from -2 to 3 degrees Celsius. It is suitable for camping in the field or tent camping in warmer seasons. The ergonomic mummy shape ensures full freedom of movement during sleep.

Temperatures and conditions of use

The operating temperatures of the Snugpak Nautilus sleeping bag specified in accordance with EN 13537:

  • T-comfort: +3 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
  • T-limit: -3 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
  • T-extreme: -14 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which it is possible to survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a value recommended for standard use.

Hydrophobic Aqualight fabric, synthetic Isofibre filling

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of Aqualight fabric with hydrophobic properties, composed of durable 190T polyester. The filling is synthetic Isofibre silicone material, the structure of which traps warmed air between the cavities in the fibres. The hood is equipped with an elastic drawstring, allowing it to be tightened around the face.

Two-way zipper on the right side, possibility of joining sleeping bags

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper placed on the right side, which makes getting in and out quick and easy. It is fitted with an insulating strip that protects against cold getting inside. It also protects the fabric from snagging during opening and closing. Two sleeping bags with zippers on opposite sides can be joined without fastening the lower part.

Convenient transport and storage

The model is convenient for transport and storage. When packed, the sleeping bag measures 24 x 20 cm, and its weight is 1400 g, which allows for easy carrying without excessively burdening luggage.

    The sleeping bag is very comfortable and made of nice material. Cozy and warm, while still providing plenty of freedom of movement. I deduct a star for its size when packed. I struggled to compress it to the size shown in the picture, but to no avail. The sleeping bag is lightweight, which is great, but it is quite large, so keep that in mind if you plan to take a backpack smaller than 60L.

    The envelope-shaped sleeping bag is very light, comfortable, and provides a restful sleep. The transport sack is equipped with drawstrings that help compress the sleeping bag to a minimal size. The thermal comfort ranging from -2 to +3 degrees meets my expectations. I recommend it.
