Temperatures and conditions of use
The operating temperatures of the Tactical 2 sleeping bag are determined according to the EN 13537 standard:
T-comfort: 0 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
T-limit: -5 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort.
Paratex Steelplate construction, Thermal Suede One and Reflectatherm lining
The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made from Paratex Steelplate material, which provides high breathability, good wind protection and high moisture resistance due to DWR waterproofing (Durable Water Repellency). As a result, even during damp mornings in the field, dew drops will gather on the surface of the sleeping bag without causing it to soak. The inner layer of the sleeping bag is made from lightweight Thermal Suede One and Reflectatherm material. Thermal Suede One has a specially designed material structure that prevents moisture buildup inside the sleeping bag, created by the condensation of body heat and low ambient temperature. Reflectatherm is a metallised fabric designed to reflect and retain heat inside the sleeping bag, potentially increasing retained heat by 15%.
Inside the sleeping bag, around the feet, there is a reinforced section of material that, in addition to improving insulation properties, allows for sleeping in footwear without fear of damaging the sleeping bag. There are also two small loops that allow for easy hanging and airing of the sleeping bag.
Softie Premier filling
The sleeping bag's filling is Softie Premier, which provides good heat retention even in humid environments, and its soft texture makes the sleeping bag pleasant to touch. The special proprietary construction of the filling fibres allows for hand and machine washing of the sleeping bag if necessary.
Two-way zipper, insulation strip
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper from renowned company YKK, located on the left side. Inside, there is a protective strip to prevent fabric from getting caught in the zipper and to limit heat loss. It is possible to connect two sleeping bags into one double bag with another model with a zipper on the opposite side.
Cold-resistant hood
Anatomically shaped hood enhances thermal protection by wrapping around the head and preventing heat loss during low temperatures. Its shape also provides additional protection against wind and moisture.
Convenient transport and storage
The model is easy to transport and store. When folded, the sleeping bag measures 18 x 17 cm and weighs 1100 g, allowing for easy carrying without excessively burdening luggage.
