It works very well. It's pleasant to write in, fits in your pocket, and the pages don't get soggy. It's worth having with you in the forest while working. It's a good idea to have pages lined on one side and squared on the other.

A lot of advantages. No problem with water, I haven't tried submerging it but it survived rain without any issues. Perfect to keep as a backup in a backpack or take outdoors. Bought as a gift and the recipient liked it.
