I chose the stonewash version mainly because of the appearance and I don't regret it. I mainly carry the knife with me at work and during trips. During this time, I was tempted a few times to replace it with something new, but in the end, it always stayed in my pocket. I just enjoy using it and don't see the need to look for a replacement.

SOG Specialty Knives & Tools is an American brand founded in 1986 by Spencer Fraser, inspired by the MACV-SOG knife used by special forces during the Vietnam War. The first S1 Bowie model was created in collaboration with Japanese master blacksmith Ichiro Hattori and became an icon among tactical knives. SOG gained recognition with the SEAL 2000 model, which was adopted by the Navy SEALs and is now on display at the Navy SEALs museum in Fort Pierce. The brand also offers advanced multitools that use patented Compound Leverage technology, which nearly doubles the pressure of the pliers thanks to double pivot points. SOG products are characterized by their solid construction, precision workmanship, and are designed for both professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. Today, SOG tools are manufactured primarily in the US and Taiwan, continuing a tradition of quality and reliability.

Nice and lightweight. It doesn't particularly bother you in your pocket. Opens quickly and smoothly, so technically all positives. The steel is decent; it all depends on how you use and take care of it :) For me, a great project, it has found a permanent place in my pocket.

After a few days of use, I am very satisfied. The knife is light, well-made, and you can immediately feel that it is solid equipment. The blade was very sharp right out of the box, and the mechanism works smoothly and without any play. Everything is well-fitted and looks really sturdy.

I have several folding knives and this is definitely one of those that ends up in my pocket most often. It opens very smoothly, feels good in the hand, and gives the impression of being really solid. Nothing wobbles, nothing creaks, everything works as it should. A reliable folder for everyday carry, without unnecessary gimmicks.
