First, I don't understand why SOG claims a lifetime warranty when the website only mentions 2 years. Second, the multitool was initially well assembled, but after just two days it loosened so much that you could spin it like a butterfly knife, even though there's a solid thread lock inside.

SOG Specialty Knives & Tools is an American brand founded in 1986 by Spencer Frazer, inspired by the MACV-SOG knife used by special forces units during the Vietnam War. The first S1 Bowie model was created in cooperation with Japanese master bladesmith Ichiro Hattori and became an icon among tactical knives. SOG gained recognition thanks to the SEAL 2000 model, which was adopted for use by the Navy SEALs and is currently displayed at the Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce. The brand also offers advanced multitools that use the patented Compound Leverage technology, nearly doubling the pressure force of the pliers thanks to double pivot points. SOG products are characterized by solid construction, precise workmanship, and are intended for both professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. Currently, SOG tools are manufactured mainly in the USA and Taiwan, continuing the tradition of quality and reliability.
