Spyderco Astute G10 8Cr13MoV Folding Knife

Lightweight and robust EDC folding knife featuring a wide blade with a full flat grind; the blade geometry combines with the grind to deliver outstanding cutting performance. Semi-matte satin finish minimizes glare from the blade's surface.

Equipped with a drop point blade crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, renowned for easy sharpening, reliable edge retention, and excellent corrosion resistance.

A large thumb hole, patented and trademarked by Spyderco, enables smooth ambidextrous one-handed deployment—even when wearing gloves. When open, the blade is securely held in place by a solid liner lock.

The handle scales are ergonomically shaped and made from resilient G10 laminate, which consists of fiberglass layers set in epoxy resin. This material is tough, impact-resistant, and withstands exposure to most chemicals as well as extreme temperatures. The textured finish ensures dependable grip, even when wet. Scales are attached with screws to a stainless steel backspacer for added rigidity. A lanyard or safety cord can be attached via a hole at the rear of the handle.

Flexible, reversible pocket clip allows for four carrying positions (tip-up or tip-down, on either right or left side) for convenient everyday carry.
