Robust EDC folding knife featuring a drop point blade crafted from premium stainless steel CTS BD1, manufactured by the American Carpenter Technology Corporation. CTS BD1 provides excellent edge retention along with impressive resistance to corrosion. Thanks to its full flat grind and optimized blade geometry, the blade delivers outstanding cutting efficiency.

A generously sized thumb hole is integrated into the blade (a trademarked and patented feature of Spyderco), enabling effortless deployment with either the left or right hand, even when gloves are worn. Jimping on the spine offers a dependable thumb placement, promoting comfortable and secure handling. Reliable blade retention in the open position is provided by a stable liner lock.

Ergonomically contoured handle scales are constructed from durable G10 laminate—a material consisting of fiberglass layers bonded with epoxy resin. Highly rugged, impact resistant, and impervious to most chemicals as well as extreme temperatures. The textured surface of the scales supplies a secure grip, even when wet. A lanyard or safety cord can be attached using the dedicated hole at the end of the handle.

Carrying convenience is provided by a spring-mounted, reversible clip, which can be configured in four options (tip-up or tip-down, on either the right or left side of the handle).

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Spyderco.

Spyderco is an American company based in Golden, Colorado, founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. The brand's origins are linked to the invention of the “Portable Hand,” which gave rise to the company's name, and in 1978, the innovative Tri-Angle Sharpmaker® was introduced. The breakthrough came in 1981 with the launch of the C01 Worker knife - the world's first model with a carrying clip, the distinctive Spyderhole opening, and the serrated SpyderEdge blade. Spyderco was also a pioneer in the use of new materials, being the first to introduce CPM S60V powder steel and H-1 stainless steel, designed for use in marine environments. For years, the brand has been collaborating with renowned knifemakers, including Al Mar, Ernest Emerson, and Marcin Slysz, creating unique models that have gained iconic status. The stylized spider logo symbolizes both the company's origins and Spyderco's values: precision, innovation, and high performance.

Great knife! It really looks fantastic in person. Nicely made, plus very practical. If you use this knife as intended, it turns out to be a high-quality knife in your hand, and its price is very attractive considering the build quality and very good materials, very good blade steel, sturdy handle made from nicely finished G10, comfortable, fits well in the hand, and the color is also pleasing to the eye, nice and rare, which gives it a unique and distinctive look. I highly recommend this knife, and just a small note regarding another review: with a knife like this, sometimes something needs to be tightened or screwed in. Don't abuse it, just use it wisely. An excellent 'spider' at a very good price, highly recommend!!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. After half a year of very gentle use, the screws came loose and the knife fell apart. The blade is also nothing special, chipped after whittling a stick.

Nice little knife. It took me about two days to figure out how to open it, but I managed. It fits well in the hand, interesting steel. The G10 handle scales are better than the FRN ones I had on the Tenku. I recommend it.
