The pistol was bought for carrying in the forest during walks and mushroom picking, as well as for scaring away starlings from the plot. Larger blank-firing guns powered by Long cartridges are somewhat louder, but for me, they are inconvenient to carry all day. This little one suits me. The workmanship raises no objections, it works as it should, except for one "gem." Manufacturers of blank-firing guns use various methods to prevent tinkerers from modifying them. Here, in the START-2, a steel plate was brutally hammered into the barrel, damaging the thread in the process. You have to carefully screw in the fireworks adapter so as not to damage the thread even more. The solution to this problem is simply to plug the barrel a little deeper first, to make space for the threading tool, and then make the thread. Here is my nod to the factory technologist. After firing two test magazines, zero misfires, the firing pin mark is clear and deep. Cases are easily removed from the magazine, and if necessary, the built-in ejector in the handle helps a lot. Noise is standard for shorts. I hope the gun will serve a long and trouble-free life, just like my old Fenix revolver, still with the MATEJA logo ;)

I must admit it's one of the better blank-firing pistols I've used. Well-made, metal, reasonably heavy, fits well in the hand, and shoots very loudly despite its compact size. Also works great as a blank deterrent—highly recommend.

The pistol barrel has significant uneven bulges. The magazine slide lock jams and is not stable. The firework adapter, when attached, goes crookedly upwards. Factory defect.

Really cool little pistol. A nice addition to any enthusiast's collection of this kind. The loudness of the shot depends on the brand of ammunition used and, above all, on the place where you shoot. The weapon is handy and compact. You can always have it with you.

One of the best starter/alarm pistols. After firing 100 rounds, I can say the weapon is very comfortable and compact. The pistol jammed only three times. Sometimes there may be misfires, but if you know how to handle a gun, there will be no problem removing them. The feeling when gripping and firing is very similar to a P-64 CZAK pistol. In short: I highly recommend it.

I've had it for two years and it's useful for all kinds of events. Good maintenance and barrel cleaning enable long-term use. I definitely recommend it—even though it's small, it's quite heavy, which is an advantage.

Nice equipment, worth recommending. Good workmanship, I'm pleased with the purchase. It's my first starter/alarm pistol, next time I'm thinking about buying an air gun.

I have one and recommend it for flares and scaring away animals.
