The Steiner Commander 7x50 binoculars are professional optical equipment that continue the tradition of the legendary Commander series marine binoculars. The number one choice among sailors worldwide, both professionals and amateurs, offering unmatched image quality and exceptional durability.
Equipped with a 50 mm objective lens, the binoculars offer 7x magnification and a wide field of view of 145 m, allowing comfortable observation of a broad section of the horizon. Thanks to the Porro prism system, the image is more stereoscopic and three-dimensional, providing better depth compared to compact roof prism binoculars. The binoculars are designed to work in difficult lighting conditions and at night, offering a clear image in all conditions.
The Steiner Commander 7x50 uses advanced technologies such as Steiner High-Definition-Optics, which makes it possible to achieve a clear, sharp, and high-contrast image, even in low light. The Diamond-Marine coating increases light transmission, and Steiner Nano-Protection technology makes the lenses resistant to dirt, water, and other external factors. Nitrogen filling under 14 psi pressure eliminates the risk of fogging and water vapor condensation inside the binoculars. Temperature changes from -40 deg C to 80 deg C do not affect its functionality, which confirms its resistance to extreme conditions.
The binoculars' construction, made of Makrolon, provides high shock resistance and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding marine conditions. ErgoFlex eyecups protect against stray light and wind while ensuring comfort of use, and the Memory-Ocular eyepieces allow individual diopter settings to be stored, increasing ease of use. The Comfort-Grip system makes the binoculars comfortable to use, even during prolonged observation.
The ClicLoc system enables quick and convenient attachment of the binoculars to the strap, ensuring safe use, and the floating strap protects them from sinking. The NBR coating on the binocular body protects against adverse external factors, and the Sport-Auto-Focus system maintains image sharpness without the need for readjustment.
The Steiner Commander 7x50 is equipment that performs well in extreme conditions, offering high quality and reliability during observation.
