Super shovel / spade for heavy work both in the field, also tested in the garden. A solid piece of steel. I highly recommend it, a piece of great work.

The spade is sturdy and durable, plus it's lightweight, well-balanced, and fits perfectly in the hand. From my first impressions, I don't see any downsides, but it could have some extra grooves on the handle for a better grip in the rain, as well as a cord on the handle. Other than that, it's a top-shelf product worth recommending. I bought it because my regular entrenching shovel from Militaria wasn't working anymore on hard, root-filled soil, but with this tool, it goes smoothly and cuts through bigger roots without a problem. It's also worth noting that the construction is solid, there are no moving parts, which increases its durability, and it has a nice groove for scooping up soil better. The curve doesn't add much, but maybe I'm just used to my old one.
