Robust and practical survival knife featuring a Drop-Point Recurve blade. Forged from D2 tool steel, the blade delivers exceptional cutting performance and outstanding resistance to wear.

Hardened to 61-62 HRC, the blade is crafted with a flat grind (Flat) for optimal sharpness. A Stonewash finish provides a matte appearance and enhances protection against scratching. Additional user safety is provided by spine jimping, ensuring secure thumb placement and control.

Ergonomically contoured handle scales are constructed from lightweight and durable G10 laminate. The coarse texture of the handle offers a reliable grip, even in wet or dirty conditions. A cross guard at the end of the handle prevents the hand from slipping onto the blade.

Kydex sheath allows for safe and convenient transport, securing the knife through pressure retention. Fully MOLLE compatible, the sheath enables attachment to tactical gear such as belts, vests, or backpacks.

I'll be honest, at first I had a bit of a problem with the belt clip because it was my first knife with this mounting, but once you get the hang of it, there's no issue at all... The knife is very decent for the money, but the "crafted in China" inscription on the blade let me down a bit. It could do without it.

Beautifully made knife. It looks like a solid piece of steel. It comes quite sharp, so there's no need for additional sharpening. I recommend it, it's worth buying. The sheath and belt clip also look fine.

I recommend it, but... The "but" is that the knife rusted a bit, and I've only had it since June 2024. The MEGA advantage of the knife is the handle – ergonomic and comfortable, plus the quite thick blade runs the full length of the handle. The knife is BEAUTIFULLY packed in a gift box. The knife doesn't come very sharp – for me that's not a flaw, as you can use it for trekking in the mountains/camping/outdoor grilling. But eventually, you'll need to sharpen it, especially for any survival use. The steel of this knife is D2 steel, according to the source: "D2 steel is a tool steel often referred to as 'semi-stainless', as it contains just a little less chromium (13%) than the required amount to qualify as true stainless, but still provides good corrosion resistance. On the other hand, D2 steel is much harder, which means it holds an edge better." As for sharpness, I don't know yet, because I haven't sharpened it yet. Regarding the 'semi-stainless' part... well, it's true – the knife, as shown in the photos attached, rusted a bit. However, overall I recommend this knife – although it rusted a bit (requiring polishing), it's great for mountain treks, camping, some light survival, because it has a thick blade along its whole length, well-balanced enough, factory sharpness was sufficient for my needs, the sheath/holster for belt attachment is pretty solid though the plastic looks a bit cheap. Despite some flaws – I recommend it. Ps. Other Takumitak knives don't have such an ergonomic handle.
