Templar's Gear

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Templar's Gear.

Templar's Gear is a brand founded in 2015 by enthusiasts who, from the very beginning, set themselves the goal of creating tactical accouterment that is lighter, more durable, and more functional than what is available on the market. Thanks to innovations such as laser-cut technology and the use of textile laminates, the company quickly became one of the European leaders in its industry. The offer includes vests, belts, pouches, and backpacks. A huge distinction for the brand was the approval of selected products by the Ministry of National Defense and the granting of JIM numbers (Uniform Material Index), which means they are fully approved for use in the Polish Army. This is not only proof of the quality and trust enjoyed by Templar's Gear, but also a signal that Polish tactical equipment can successfully compete with the best in the world. The Ministry of National Defense's decision is part of the “Operacja Szpej” program and paves the way for other manufacturers who may contribute to the further modernization of the Polish army in the future.

A very well thought-out and well-made first aid kit. It is absolutely ideal for wearing on a tactical belt. The velcro holds firmly, and we can further secure it against accidental tearing by fastening it. On the front wall, there is a pocket for gloves, accessible from the outside via two zippers. On the back, there's a pocket for rescue scissors, with the possibility to secure them with velcro. When opened, there is a flat pocket, about 12x12 cm, on both the front and back walls, each with two compartments sewn on for bandages/gauze. Inside, there is a panel to which we can attach small items or detach it if necessary. Almost the perfect IPMED/IFAK. Only one comment: If I were injured and my colleague had to treat me, he might have trouble guessing it's a first aid kit because the red cross under the velcro is not very visible. It's worth attaching a patch to the velcro to help your colleague recognize it.

Templar's Gear, as usual, does not disappoint. Solid craftsmanship, spaciousness, and user ergonomics. The plastic insert inside allows for a lot of customization. The red quick-release strap that goes across the entire width also works well. It detaches smoothly from the mount but also has a safety feature in the form of straps that wrap around the medical pouch, fastened with a plastic buckle, which prevents accidental removal, e.g., if you snag it on something. I had some trouble with the MOLLE attachment because the cutouts on the medkit mount are a bit different from those on, say, magazine pouches, but this is probably due to the manufacturer's intent to ensure universal mounting that fits both belts and, for example, plate carriers (where you can thread the mounting strap through more MOLLE straps, providing better pouch stability). The medkit is vertical, so keep in mind that when mounted on the back of the belt, it will lean a bit in the area where your back loses its noble name ;)
