Terra Nova Jupiter Lite Bivi 1-Person Tent

1-person bivy tent designed for use in terrain where minimizing gear weight and resistance to weather conditions are essential. The 770 g structure is easy to transport and ideal for longer hikes or trips that require compact gear.

The top section is made of Moonlite fabric, which enhances breathability and reduces internal moisture build-up. The floor, constructed from durable Waterbloc material, increases resistance to abrasion and protects against ground moisture. The simplified structure and minimal component count make it easy to pack and quick to set up.

The tent’s upper section is crafted from Moonlite fabric with a grammage of 55 g/m2, which combines low weight with high durability and excellent breathability. The fabric provides a water resistance level of 10,000 mm water column and breathability of 15,000 g/m2/24 h, ensuring protection from moisture and enhancing comfort during overnight stays.

The floor is made from Waterbloc fabric, offering water resistance rated at 10,000 mm water column and high abrasion resistance. The material’s structure handles point loads well and performs on uneven ground. The applied coating minimizes water penetration from the ground, providing effective protection against moisture.

The tent comes with 6 pegs that can be placed in key points of the structure—2 at the top, 2 at the bottom, and 2 at the sides where the arch ends. This arrangement ensures proper material tension and overall stability. 2 additional guy lines at the top further reinforce rigidity and increase resistance to wind.

This model uses a single curved DAC arch that forms a hoop above the head, increasing the usable space in the upper part of the tent. This solution enhances comfort while lying down and makes entry easier, without significantly increasing the overall weight.

The arch is made from an aluminum alloy that is highly resistant to deforming and mechanical damage. Tapered sections help keep the weight down while maintaining overall rigidity. The production process includes eco-friendly anodizing, which reduces water consumption and eliminates harmful chemicals.

Once pitched, the tent measures 230 x 70 x 45 cm, offering optimum usable space. The low weight of 770 g and compact packed size (40 x 11 cm) mean it can be conveniently carried in a backpack.

The kit includes a drawstring carry bag for easy storage and protection of the tent. The shelter’s design has been optimized for comfortable transportation.
