Terra Nova Laser Lite 1 1-Person Tent

Ultralight 1-person tent designed to minimize gear weight while maintaining durability and effective protection against the elements. The low weight of just 990 g makes transporting your shelter easier and is perfect for longer trips and activities requiring lightweight equipment.

This design combines proven solutions from expedition tents with damage-resistant materials, including a flysheet made from TriPlex fabric with a Rip-Stop weave. The model is developed for easy use, fast pitching, and excellent organization of interior space.

combination of damage-resistant materials

The flysheet is made from TriPlex material in a Rip-Stop weave, blending tough nylon and recycled polyester fibers for high resistance to damage. The use of solution-dyed yarns increases UV resistance. The fabric offers waterproofness rated at 3000 mm water column, providing reliable protection from rain and wind.

The floor is made of 20D density fabric reinforced with Rip-Stop weave, ensuring waterproofness of 5000 mm water column. The material is pressure-coated with a silicone layer on both sides for enhanced tear and abrasion resistance, as well as improved sealing.

The inner walls use 10D Rip-Stop nylon, combining low weight with good durability. The added Rip-Stop weave helps prevent the spread of mechanical damage like abrasions and pinpoint tears, increasing the lifespan of the material and its reliability in demanding field use.

Airst. Corner technology – stability and enhanced waterproofing

The tent floor is manufactured using Airst. Corner technology, which reinforces the corners—areas most prone to pressure and wear. This increases fabric durability in critical points and reduces the risk of damage during intensive use.

The corner construction is equipped with LineLock closures, improving the floor’s seal to help maintain waterproofing and protect against moisture in demanding conditions.

stable design and fast set-up

The tent uses a DAC pole-based frame. This type of construction combines high strength with low weight, which is essential for equipment intended for light and demanding outdoor use.

The poles are made from a aluminium alloy, offering high resistance to deformation and mechanical damage. The tapered sections significantly reduce overall tent weight without compromising structural stability.

Production includes eco-friendly anodising, which lowers water usage and eliminates harmful chemicals. This results in a durable and lightweight frame, engineered for intensive use in challenging conditions.

Bedroom with one entrance and a vestibule

The sleeping area, measuring 226 x 98 x 92 cm, is designed to maximise space while keeping the overall weight low. The layout allows for comfortable positioning and easy access to essential gear. The geometry provides ample headroom, making it easy to move and organise gear inside.

The tent features a single entrance and vestibule, offering additional storage for gear and improving organisation. This configuration keeps the sleeping area separate from the equipment, which is particularly useful in the field. The design includes storage space on both sides, aiding in gear management.

multiple ventilation zones

This model is fitted with numerous ventilation zones that enhance air circulation and reduce condensation inside the tent. The adjustable FlexiPorch system lets you adapt the vestibule size to your needs, increasing living space or improving airflow.

The tent can be pitched using standard trekking poles, helping to minimize the amount of gear carried and simplifying overall setup. This eliminates the need for extra structural components, important when assembling a lightweight kit.

reflective guylines and easy transport

Reflective guylines made from Dyneema improve tent visibility after dark and reduce tripping hazards. Thanks to its lightweight design of only 990 g and compact packed dimensions (30 x 12 x 12 cm), you can easily carry it in your backpack. The shelter is optimised for convenient transport.

Rip-Stop feature
Rip-Stop

Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

FlexiPorch feature
FlexiPorch
FlexiPorch is an innovative solution that increases the usable space of a tent through a flexible vestibule system. It allows the entry area to be easily expanded, offering extra space for luggage, gear, or cooking during rain. The design has been developed to maintain full stability and protection against adverse weather conditions. Thanks to its modular approach, FlexiPorch can be adapted to the user's current needs or the prevailing weather. This solution significantly improves comfort in smaller tents, where every centimeter of space matters.
TriPlex feature
TriPlex
TriPlex is a lightweight, three-layer composite fabric whose layers are permanently bonded in a lamination process. The material is characterized by very high resistance to tears, punctures, and water, while also showing low susceptibility to stretching. As a result, it helps maintain a stable structural shape in wet and demanding terrain conditions, increasing the durability of expedition gear.
AiroCorner feature
AiroCorner
AiroCorner is a tent corner design without seams in places particularly exposed to leaks and overloads. Specially reinforced points where the poles meet the floor distribute stress evenly, reducing wear on the fabric and pole tips, and increasing structural stability during strong wind. The system additionally reinforces the connection between the floor and the flysheet and makes correct tent pitching easier.
LineLock feature
LineLock
The LineLock system is an advanced solution for quick and precise adjustment of tent guyline tension. The mechanism is based on an easy-to-use cord lock that eliminates the need to tie complicated knots. With this solution, the user can correct cord tension in a fraction of a second, which is essential for maintaining tent stability in changing weather conditions. LineLock guarantees a secure hold on the cord under load, preventing it from loosening during the night. The whole system is resistant to mechanical factors and moisture, ensuring reliable operation over a long period of time.
DAC feature
DAC
DAC is a global leader in the production of high-strength aluminum poles, valued for innovation in materials engineering. The tubes from this manufacturer are made in a unique process that makes it possible to achieve an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The material shows exceptional resistance to material fatigue and permanent deformation, which makes it the foundation of the most renowned expedition tents. DAC poles are lighter than traditional solutions, while at the same time providing significantly higher structural durability. Precise connections between individual sections guarantee easy setup and smooth folding even in difficult conditions.
