Texar Aventor fleece - Olive

The fleece is quite thick, warm, and pleasant to the touch. Seven pockets are enough for all your essentials. The description does not mention that the fleece has two additional internal mesh pockets. There are elastic bands in the sleeves to attach the fleece sleeves to jacket sleeves.

I've been using this fleece for over a year, so I can share some insights. Let's start with the positives: - Modern design, I personally like it a lot, but that's a matter of taste - It's warm, the material doesn't pill, fits well with one small exception explained in the cons - Plenty of pockets, although some solutions are not well thought out (further explained in the cons) Now for the cons: - No drawstring or Velcro at the sleeve ends, so cold easily gets inside. If you don't have very large forearms, this can be uncomfortable - The main pockets should be lined with cloth, not mesh; after a month of use, a hole appeared, and I only carried my hands in them In summary, the fleece is worth buying as long as you're okay with these two design flaws. Because of them, I’m deducting two stars, one for each flaw.

The fleece looks nice in the pictures. The design is great in terms of the number of pockets. Unfortunately, the proportions are poorly thought out and it fits badly. Unless someone has a concave belly and a wide neck...

A warm, comfortable fleece sweatshirt. The material is quite thick, so it will be good for colder weather. Lots of pockets and a patch panel, which I always appreciate in sweatshirts. I recommend it.

I bought a second piece of this sweater because I was so satisfied with the first one (olive green). It's a pity that there isn't a gray version yet :) This fleece is soft, pleasant to the touch, and has a good shape – it doesn't look like a sack. It has many practical pockets, which, when opened, also serve as vents. The high collar protects the neck from the cold. I'm 180 cm tall, weigh 69 kg, and have long arms – size L fits like it was made for me. Fun fact – the zipper pull is on the right side, not the left – you have to get used to it.

Great fitted fleece. If you are slimmer (188cm, 82kg, size L), it fits closely and keeps you warm when worn just over a t-shirt. It could possibly be a bit longer in the torso, but the sleeves are perfect and I have long arms. Much more pleasant than baggy Helikons, but it depends on what you like.

I love this fleece. It's well-tailored and doesn't look baggy. It has plenty of pockets, which, thanks to the mesh interiors, also work as vents (when they're not full and can stay open). Because of this, you can wear it in a wider range of temperatures. The high collar keeps the neck warm and the zipper is protected so it doesn't get cold or irritate the chin. At 180 cm tall, 70 kg, and with longer-than-average arms, size L is perfect. The zippers work smoothly and seem solid. One weird thing - the main zipper is "reversed" (on the right side instead of the left), but you can get used to it.

The fleece does not fit the Conger jacket as described in the description. It looks good and fits nicely. But we bought it specifically for the Conger jacket and, well, it doesn’t fit.

Great fleece, nicely fitted, thick, and with many useful pockets. Size L is perfect for 174cm height and 67kg weight. For Helikon, size S fits.
