I’ve been using this jacket for almost 3 years, including 2 and a half years in Ireland in frequent and heavy rain—it has performed excellently. Great cut; it’s not as long as SMOCK jackets, so it looks very good on and you can comfortably put your hands into your trouser pockets as well. The sleeves are slightly longer, which is very useful because the material is stiff, so you don’t end up in a situation where it’s cold and when you bend your arm, the sleeves slide up from your gloves and leave your wrists exposed. It “breathes” like original Gore-Tex. The breathability and waterproofness are a hundred times better than the issue jackets from the Ministry of National Defence and the Border Guard, and I’ve tested them all. Very functional arrangement of all the pockets, solid zippers. Two drawbacks: 1) the multicam camouflage equivalent is simply definitely too light—you can see it in the photo I’m attaching to the review, 2) how can you make such a great jacket in terms of both cut and membrane quality, and at the same time forget about the possibility of stowing the hood in the collar?! But my seamstress solved that problem. I wear size M at 78 kg and 180 cm tall, and it fits perfectly; there is room underneath for a T-shirt, a sweatshirt, and a thick fleece. On sale for under 500 PLN, you won’t find a better jacket, and most importantly—it does not soak through even in several hours of heavy rain.
