Texar Grom ECWCS Jacket - Black

Jacket in black color providing effective protection against wind and precipitation. It is equipped with a membrane with a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability level of 7500 g/m2/24 h, which protects against rain and allows excess moisture to be wicked away during exertion. The material limits water penetration into the interior, resulting in greater comfort in challenging terrain conditions.

The jacket is designed for intensive use in the field and made from durable nylon. Reinforcements placed on the elbows increase resistance to abrasions and mechanical damage, which is important when working in contact with the ground or equipment.

High collar protects the neck from wind and precipitation, reducing heat loss in a critical area. Cuff adjustment with a Velcro tab allows for precise fitting of the sleeves to the wrists, reducing the entry of cold air into the jacket's interior and allowing comfortable use with gloves.

The jacket's construction is adapted for wearing with Texar Grom fleece, allowing a setup tailored to temperature and activity level. The jacket serves as the outer layer protecting against weather conditions, while the fleece provides thermal insulation.

In warmer conditions, the jacket can be used on its own, while in decreasing temperatures, you can increase thermal protection by adding an insulating layer.

The model is equipped with a thoughtful arrangement of pockets that allows for storage of essential gear elements. 2 external pockets with snap closures allow for quick access to carried items while securing them from falling out.

Additionally, there are 2 internal pockets with zipper closures by the main zipper. This solution increases the safety of storing documents, phones, or other valuable small items.

The jacket features a two-way main zipper, allowing for ventilation regulation and easy access to gear worn underneath. An applied flap covering the zipper, fastened with snaps, provides an additional barrier against wind and limits heat loss. Velcro panels for patches are placed on the chest and left shoulder.

The model features a hood with an adjustment system using a drawstring, allowing precise fitting to the shape of the head and enhancing stability while moving in windy conditions. The design also allows for the complete detachment of the hood with a zipper.
