After 3 months of use, I can say they're comfortable, though the color and material get dirty, but the feet don't smell, and so far the sole hasn't come apart anywhere.

Solid and well-made shoes. Tested in various weather conditions and perform well without issues. The color looks much better in real life than in the photos. I recommend them. Fast delivery.

Online purchase, the shipping was not very fast. While choosing, I had four shoe models to choose from, each available in two sizes: 41 and 42 EU (my foot length is 27.3cm and width is standard). Here’s my subjective assessment from least to most favorable: 1. Texar Desert Ghost - Khaki: These were my least favorite (strange color), the sizing didn’t match the chart—it was overestimated to the extent that both sizes were too small. The shoes are well made, standard insole, average comfort after putting them on, hard sole—something like Kupczak MON. 2. Texar Stinger - Khaki: Nicer than the above and the sleekest in this comparison. SURPRISINGLY, considering it’s also Texar, the size matched the chart. Size 41 was a bit too small, but I feel that after some use, the shoe should break in enough to fit perfectly with a thin sock. Size 42 was too large, even with a medium/thicker or all-season sock. The shoes are well made, standard insole, average comfort after putting on, hard sole like the Deserts. 3. KOMBAT uk PRO 50/50 (purchased from a competitor): In my opinion, the best looking of those compared. The sizing matches the chart: 41 fits perfectly with a thin sock, and 42 has acceptable room with a thicker/all-season sock. Well made shoes (comparable to Texars), more comfort than the previous ones, the sole is not as hard, although still not up to the winner in my comparison. Nice feature with the external heel reinforcement. 4. Bates Tactical Sport 2 Desert: The comparison winner, though not the nicest looking. The size chart is their weakest side—sizes run small. I chose size 41, which with a thin sock leaves 2-3mm room, and with a medium/all-season sock is ideal for me. Build quality is high, like the competition in this comparison, but after putting them on, they are miles ahead. From the first moment, they fit perfectly to the foot and ankle, you almost don’t feel them on your feet, good insole and the sole is amazingly flexible, not offering the resistance when walking like the soles in the other shoes. If anyone is considering whether it’s worth paying about 150 PLN more for the Bates Tactical Sport 2, my answer is definitely YES.

3 months of non-aggressive wearing alternated with another pair turned out not bad. The sole wore down quickly. 50% asphalt, 45% dirt, 5% sand and mud. Pros: price and zipper.

The shoes turned out to be a big disappointment. A soft metal plate went into the sole like butter at a 30-35 degree angle. I'm talking about a plate you can easily wrap around your finger...

Very fast shipping. The shoes turned out to look better than in the pictures. Quality is excellent. They fit the foot "like a glove." Truly worth their price. I sincerely recommend the company and the shoes. Keep it up!

The shoes are very nice and comfortable. I am pleasantly surprised. The color is lighter than in the pictures, more sand-colored. I’ll see how they perform in the field. Build quality is OK.

On the first day they were not very comfortable, but with each passing day, better and better. The only minus is a rather weak sole.

I used them for three years. Hardly took them off my feet. Conclusions: Pros: - zipper - molds to the foot, comfortable - the top of the shoe will handle a lot. They look almost like the day I bought them. Disregarding dirt because they get dirty quickly. Cons: -the mentioned dirt -the inside of the shoe is unfortunately torn and worn -after three years the sole is worn down to zero and after wearing out the tread lugs, it turns out the rubber is maybe 2mm thick and holes appear. Despite the flaws, I will buy this model again. Nobody's perfect.

Good solid shoes.

After about 16 hours I received exactly what I was waiting for! Delivery lightning fast, shoes just as I wanted. As for comfort or durability, I have no major doubts, no one complains, of course you need to take care of your footwear.

The first impression is very good and promising. Unfortunately, two weeks of wearing these shoes non-stop reveals, in my opinion, all the flaws and shortcomings. The leather, despite impregnation, absorbs water and gets dirty incredibly quickly. Also, the foot profiling is somewhat odd (I can't quite describe it), making the shoes average in terms of comfort. And after a month, the loops on the shaft unraveled and fell off. Positives – they are suitable for every season (temperature-wise) and don't slip.

Tested in the mountains (30km march) and for ASG running, for me they are comfortable. I ordered a size smaller than I normally wear and it's perfect.
