TigerWood Termo Tarp 3x3 Camping Tarp - Olive

The Tigerwood camp tarp in Olive is crafted from lightweight, robust, and waterproof polyamide. Featuring a thermal insulation layer, it enhances warmth in cold environments and reflects sunlight on warm days, helping to maintain a cooler temperature beneath the tarp.

Durable polyamide construction, thermal insulation layer

Crafted from lightweight and robust polyamide with a mass of 60 g/m2, the fabric ensures water resistance up to 3500 mm/m2. Withstands pressure from a 3.5-meter water column without leaking. An integrated thermal insulation layer boosts heat retention in cold environments and reflects solar rays during hot conditions, effectively reducing heat accumulation beneath the tarp. Taped seams further reinforce the durability of the material.

Versatile and easy to use

Equipped with 19 attachment points, the tarp enables fast and straightforward shelter deployment in outdoor environments. Reinforced loops offer instant adaptability for conversion into an A-frame tent, makeshift tipi, or an expansive canopy. Utilizing guy lines eliminates the need for ground stakes, minimizing the chance of tripping hazards in low-light conditions.

The tarp performs reliably in various weather conditions, effectively protecting against rain, snow, and sun. The additional thermal layer is praised for its insulation, though some mention it can be quite shiny. Numerous attachment points offer versatile pitching options. The tarp works perfectly. On colder nights, you can feel its thermal properties and how it insulates warm air from above. Waterproofing is at a high level. It effectively protects against rain, even during prolonged rainfall. The downside is the poor durability of the guy lines, but after a complaint, they were sewn with an extra layer of thread—all of them, not just the ones that broke. Thanks to this, I rate customer service highly. It's just a shame they didn't think of it from the beginning :) I recommend the tarp. It has already served me on my latest trip.

The tarp itself is fine – the 3x3 size is perfect for various shelter configurations, and the thermal layer really helps retain heat, which I appreciate when sleeping in the forest. The loops are solid and well-placed. However, I noticed something strange: there are Badger brand tags sewn onto the side webbing strap, even though I bought the product as Tigerwood. This does not affect use, but it is puzzling. You also need to be careful by the campfire – sparks can quite easily burn through the material, but that's standard with this type of fabric. Overall, I recommend it, as it does its job.

Purchased tarp in olive color. Not very visible in the forest. Many attachment points allow for various configurations. The material feels durable.

Good tarp. Worked great during a week-long mountain trip. The size to weight and occupied space is very optimal. Also, the material quality leaves nothing to be desired.

Very nice tarp. Well made, plus it's lightweight and doesn't take up much space in the backpack. The mounting system is simple and the setup doesn’t take much time. I hope it will last for some time. Definitely recommend it.

I got the tarp "from Santa Claus, or rather Mrs. Claus". Very well made as is typical for TW. Tested in January at subzero temperatures and snowfall. Fulfilled its function. I have heard opinions that TW tarps leak, but I have not experienced that at all. I’ll wait for a heavier downpour to test it again, but given how well this tarp is made, I'm not worried about it. I am satisfied :)

The tarp is well made. Tested during several trips to the forest. So far everything is in the best order. The only downside is that in a few places the color layer is not properly applied and it looks like the paint is rubbed off with silver stripes visible on the olive side.

A very solid tarp in a nice color. I bought one for myself and one for a friend, and it does the job. Tested in rain and sun. It goes well with a hammock from the same company. Fast shipping. I recommend it. Paweł

For those who are considering the purchase, I recommend throwing away the wooden board, which will reduce the cover's weight by a few extra grams. The tarp is solidly made. The weight showed: 656g Waiting for autumn tests.

Unfortunately, in this color and size there is no non-thermal version, so you have to pay extra, we will see if this layer shines and how it performs. I know the tarp itself and everything is fine.

Great tarp. I bought it because I'm completing my backpack. Very easy and fast to set up. Already proven in action when it rained during a long weekend.

Good tarp. The most reasonable size, thermal layer, what more could you want. So far it’s not tearing. Tarps tend to not take up much space in a backpack, so worth taking with you on the road.

What distinguishes this tarp is the good material, which has slightly better waterproofness than other tarps and an additional thermal layer, but my rating of this tarp is lowered by the strength of its guy lines. When set up in a diamond shape and with wind gusts around 52 km/h, one guy line did not hold up. The tarp is ideal for rainy days but not for windy ones.

Very nice tarp. When packed, it's small and light (definitely smaller than I expected) and when set up it's very functional due to the large number of attachment points. The material does not stretch under heavy tension. Unfortunately I was a little unlucky and caught a spark from a campfire, burning a small hole. I am very satisfied with the equipment.
