UF PRO Monsoon X Tactical Rain Jacket - Black
Rain jacket in black made from three-layer GORE-TEX laminate with an ePTFE membrane, providing waterproofness, breathability, and protection against wind. It is equipped with an adjustable hood with the Hood/Harness system, Air/Pac inserts that improve air circulation and distribute the weight of accouterment, as well as adjustable cuffs. The side zippers function as ventilation openings and make it easier to access equipment worn under the jacket, while the flaps covering the main zipper protect against moisture and wind. The jacket also features 4 pockets and velcro panels on the sleeves for attaching patches and emblems.
Gore-Tex laminate, ePTFE membrane
The model is made from durable three-layer Gore-Tex laminate. The fabric structure provides two-way mechanical stretch (2-way stretch), which improves freedom of movement and increases comfort during use.
The outer polyamide layer has been coated with a durable DWR hydrophobic coating. This causes water to bead up and run off the surface of the material, limiting fabric saturation and helping to maintain its breathability during المطر. The middle layer is an ePTFE membrane. Its microporous structure limits water penetration from the outside while allowing water vapour to escape. The inner polyamide layer protects the membrane against abrasion and wear, and also creates a smooth surface on the body side and for the clothing layers worn underneath.
Adjustable cuffs, ventilation openings
The Monsoon X model fastens with a YKK zipper. Wide flaps covering the zipper on both sides protect against wind and moisture. Adjustable cuffs with velcro provide a better fit around the wrist. Velcro panels placed on the upper sleeves allow attachment of any patches or emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches, giving the jacket an individual character.
The zippers placed on the sides, when unzipped, create ventilation openings and make it easier to access accouterment placed under the jacket, for example on a belt. Snaps at the bottom protect against accidental unfastening.
Deep hood, air/pac inserts
The jacket is equipped with a deep, adjustable hood stowed inside the collar. The Hood/Harness system used in the hood ensures that it follows the head regardless of its position, which increases wearing comfort, and protects the hood from being blown off by strong gusts of wind.
There are removable Air/Pac inserts on the shoulders, which improve air circulation and evenly distribute the weight of a backpack or plate carrier across the shoulders.

Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.

Minimizes the movement of the hood during sudden movements, wind or intense physical activity, prevents the hood from obstructing the field of vision. Allows the hood to be conveniently folded down to form a collar.
