Vector Optics Continental x8 3-24x56 SFP ED Zero Stop Riflescope - Black
The professional Continental x8 riflescope was designed for sport shooting and tactical shooting at medium and long distances. The model is equipped with a variable magnification range of 3-24x and an objective lens with a diameter of 56 mm. The sight features a VCT-20A reticle, a one-piece 30 mm tube, and a Zero Stop function. The set includes a mount intended for a Picatinny rail.
Optical system and parallax adjustment
The objective lens with a diameter of 56 mm works with an optical system based on ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass lenses, which ensure high sharpness, clarity, and a detailed image of the target. The riflescope has variable 3-24x magnification. The field of view at a distance of 100 m is 13.67 m at the lowest magnification and 1.71 m at the highest, while the eye relief is 95 mm. The side parallax adjustment works in a range of from 20 yards to infinity, which allows precise adjustment of focus to the distance of the observed object. Diopter correction in the range of from -3 to +2 enables precise adjustment of the reticle to the shooter's eyesight.
VCT-20A reticle and adjustment turrets
The model is equipped with a VCT-20A reticle placed in the second focal plane (SFP). Its dimensions in the image remain constant regardless of the currently set magnification. Illumination with 6 brightness levels makes aiming easier in changing lighting conditions, and it is powered by a single CR2032 battery. Open adjustment turrets with a Zero Stop mechanism offer a click value of 0.1 MRAD. The total adjustment range is 23 MRAD vertically and 23 MRAD horizontally, which allows quick and repeatable adjustments on the shooting axis.
Body, resistance, and mount
The 30 mm tube is made of a metal alloy that ensures high resistance to mechanical damage. The design is resistant to recoil and shocks up to 750 G. The riflescope meets the requirements of IP67 protection class, which means it is fully dustproof, resistant to immersion in water to a depth of up to 1 m for 30 minutes, and also protected against fogging of the internal optical elements. The set includes mounting rings intended for a Picatinny standard rail.
