The material is very durable, it lay on the ground, rubbed against rocks and bushes during hikes, etc. When empty, it takes up little space and weighs little. However, it is not perfectly tight. It doesn't leak, but if the bottle is lying down a bit will seep out from the thread. Despite this, I highly recommend it.

Tested on several trips already - it lay on the ground, fell, rubbed against rocks, and the material was not damaged. The wide mouth makes it easy to pour water from a low faucet or other sources. However, there is one downside - from new, they are not perfectly leakproof; that is, it doesn't pour out, but if the bottle isn't upright, is hanging, or you squeeze the stiffened part near the cap, it can get 'misty.' Overall, I recommend it.

A good alternative to Nalgene bottles, which have rigid walls and are also great, but this is something I needed in my gear. The same shape, and after drinking you can fold everything and store it away.

An interesting alternative to rigid bottles like Helikon; here, after drinking, you can always fold the whole thing into a really small package and not worry about the space taken up by an empty bottle.
