I bought it to raise the holographic sight on my weapon in order to improve the comfort and ergonomics of shooting. The mount is simple yet solid, stays in place and doesn't shift position, which could affect the point of aim. I've been using it for over a year and nothing has happened to it. Very sturdy riser, I recommend this product.
